My name is Paul Yusuf. I am from Mangu Local Government Area (Kombun District) of Plateau State. I have lived and worked in various regions of Nigeria, Israel and Canada. I am married with 4 children. I spend most of my time in Nigeria and in Canada where my immediate family lives.

My life long mission is to develop, manage, promote and govern the game of football in Nigeria, to positively impact the development of Nigeria football from the grassroots to the world stage, by providing football and life-enriching opportunities to young players of all ages and playing abilities, to create a lifelong passion for football, and to help raise the level of football in our country; Nigeria, the continent of Africa and indeed the whole world to bring her back to her previous world class standard. I continue to strive for excellence in the game of football, leadership, development and personal growth of our players, coaches, staff and administrators by being active members of our communities through social service, partnerships and programs with various clubs and stakeholders.

In the last 25 years in Canada, I have held a position with the Toronto Catholic District Shool Board as a CYC and I also served as a Director with the Toronto Soccer Association in the year of 2006 and 2007.

My football career span from 1980-1996 playing for various clubs such as Enyimba FC of Aba with the likes of Michael Emenalo, Chidi Nwanu and Late Benjamin Okorogu; New Nigeria Bank of Benin City with the likes of Bright Omokaro, Henry Nwosu,Tarilla Okoronwata, Augustine Igbinobaro, Humphrey Edobor and both Late Wilfred Agbonavbaire and Stephen Keshi; El-kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri with the likes of Manu Garba, Samson Siasia, Nduka Ugbade, Benedit Ugwu; Bendel United FC of Benin City with the likes of the following players Isaac Semitoje, Benedict Iroha, Davidson Owumi and Rangers Inter. FC of Enugu with the likes of Peterside Idah and Ndubisi Ndah.

In 1979 and 1980, I won 2 gold medals for Imo state during the National Secondary School festival in Owerri (Arugo ‘79) and Ilorin (Kwasu ‘80) respectfully. Also, in 1979, I won another gold medal for Plateau State academicals during the Nigerian Sports Festival in Ibadan (Oluwole ’79).
